Capital IDEA offers sponsorship in a wide variety of career fields from technology to healthcare. We’ll work with you to identify your educational needs and then map out a plan to meet them.

We not only help cover tuition and books, we even assist with your childcare expenses. Additionally, each participant is matched with a counselor dedicated to helping you navigate your way through college and deal with any issues that arise. When you graduate you'll also recieve placement assistance. This includes ensuring that you have a professional resume and that you are prepared for interviews.
Not quite college ready?
Not everyone is ready to start at the college level. That doesn't mean you can't become a Capital IDEA participant. Capital IDEA is dedicated to offering a first time educational opportunity to those who need it most. That means if you are interested in any of the careers we sponsor but need some additional education to get you ready for college, we can help by enrolling you in one or both of these excellent preparatory programs:
- College Level ESL – English as a Second Language training provided at at Austin Community College
- College Prep Academy™ – Texas Higher Education Assessment (THEA) Preparation

Veterans Preference: Capital IDEA partners with veterans organizations to help transitioning service members and veterans to access its education and training services. Military veterans will be provided Priority of Service.
