The Director of Development and Communications provides leadership in the growth of community support for Capital IDEA and its mission. She or he leads the organization’s identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of current and potential philanthropic supporters. She or he maintains contracts, negotiations and relationships with public funders. She or he cultivates the public perception of Capital IDEA and its strategic vision. She or he works closely with the Executive Director, Directors, Staff, Board of Directors, and stakeholders and supports, develops, and supervises Development and Communications staff.
