As a nonprofit dedicated to helping our Central Texas neighbors, Capital IDEA raises funds to cover tuition and textbooks for over 1,000 adults annually. Supported by individual donors, foundations, local employers, and public funders—such as the City of Austin, Travis County, St. David’s Foundation, and Hays County—we invest over $6 million annually in high-demand career education.

As a Central Texas resident, you could have the chance at a free education. In return, you’ll commit to:

• making school a priority
• finishing your program
• launching your career right after graduation
• working in Central Texas for at least two years
• giving back to the community after graduation*
