The votes are in on ACC’s propositions – thank you for your support!

Posted: November 5th, 2014

Dear Friends,

The election results came in late last night: two of Austin Community College’s three propositions passed! Thank you for your support and thank you for voting! The bonds will create enormous opportunity for our region as they fund many critical improvements at ACC, including an on-site child care center at the new Highland Campus, and enhanced education facilities throughout Central Texas. As work begins, expect to see exciting new developments in your community.

The third proposition to increase ACC’s tax cap narrowly failed. We will keep you updated as we and ACC develop a different path to fund workforce innovation projects like the Career Expressway, an RN to BSN program, and others. Thank you again for standing by us — we were touched by the outpouring of support throughout the last few months.
