Partner Spotlight: Whitlow Task Force
Our Whitlow Education Fund Task Force was formed in 2005 to build awareness about Capital IDEA in the Williamson County community and to raise funds to support county residents through the program. Every other year, the Whitlow Task Force and sponsors host an ice cream social to celebrate outstanding supporters of our work. To honor the memory of Bunky Whitlow and the enduring legacy of Geneva Whitlow—two of our earliest supporters—we also present the Geneva and Bunky Whitlow Good Neighbor Awards at this bi-annual event. The 2016 honorees are Holly Coe & Lavon and Jim Mills. The 2016 Whitlow Good Neighbor Ice Cream Social will be held on Sunday, September 25th.
